Our high-end seatpost THE STRAIGHT is made entirely of carbon and stands out not only for its detail-loving workmanship, but also for its resilience. Thanks to the (NSA) No Slip Application Interface finally returns calm in the saddle tube! The rubberized clamping area makes the cooking out of cracking column clamps and reduces the clamping forces of the saddle clamp. The THE Straight seat post not only looks good, it also stands for multi-material construction in perfection. BIKE AHEAD's high-end seat post is primarily made of carbon and stands out due to the detailed workmanship and the innovative NSA technology. The various materials carbon, aluminum, titanium and special NBR rubber are used wherever their properties are required. The rubberized clamping area eliminates cracking column clamps and reduces the clamping forces of the saddle clamp to a minimum. The clamping plate consists of only one aluminum part, in combination with the carbon rocker the saddle can be installed and adjusted without frustration.
NSA technology
In order to be able to reduce the clamping forces to a minimum and thereby drastically reduce the notch effect, Bike Ahead Composites developed the NSA technology (NoSlipApplication). A rubber layer is laminated in the area of the clamp. This not only has the advantage that the torques can be reduced to a minimum. Crackling and creaking noises are a thing of the past.
